Patriot routinely ends up with lightly used chippers that we want to move out of our inventory. Frequently, these are units that we personally have used for demonstrations or display. Some units are truly unused but have blemishes that prevent us from selling them as new units. The remaining units are those that are customer exchanges/returns under our Patriot Promise. Sometimes customers purchase our smaller models because they are less expensive when they truly need our largest model for their needs. In these cases, we work out an exchange for the unit they should have ordered. Lastly, some customers purchase our products to process a very unusual material without consulting us, only to find out their idea doesn’t work.

No matter how Patriot ends up with these used units, we personally factory refurbish them, making sure that they are fully inspected and repaired, if needed, to meet our standards. Please note that these factory refurbished units will typically be slightly dirty and have some superficial scuffs, scratches, or blemishes. While observable, these things will not affect the performance, life, or safety of the product.
