  • CSV-2515 - 4 out of 5 stars - Patriot Customer Review - Posted 02/21/15 This is a good little friend, processing leaves (slow and steady wins the race) and small branches (zoom!) that compost beautifully.  The chip size works well for me.  At first, I was a bit surprised by its size--it seemed so small compared to commercial mulch--but it's a dream to work with.I wish I could pull it out more often, but I don't have a safe place to store it; pulling it in and out is tricky for me and feels cumbersome when I have just a few branches to process. There are two things I would like to see available in future models.  First, I would like the top ho... • CSV-2515 - 5 out of 5 stars - Patriot Customer Review - Posted 02/21/15 I use my electric CVS2515 often. I live in a close community on Guam and my neighbors appreciate the low-level noise pollution that my non-gas motor generates. I have about 30 hours of total use. With a little experience I feel confident in how to properly operate my CVS 2515. The palm frons are the most difficult item I shred. My trees are so high that they fall down dry and very hard. I can shred the ends but not the base (attached to the tree). I have greased by motor once with only one squirt per cert. I wish there were a timer to keep track of the hours for me. • CSV-3090H - 4 out of 5 stars - Patriot Customer Review - Posted 02/21/15 Overall I am very happy with the Chipper Shredder, prior to this I had multiple problems with a Troy Built system from Lowes.I am pleased to say that this unit starts and runs every time it seems to shred everything I throw at it, it does take a little training to learn how to feed each type of material, Branches, Leaves etc, but once mastered it completes what I need in short time.  By Stephen, Folsom, CA Read More...
  • CSV-3090H - 5 out of 5 stars - Patriot Customer Review - Posted 02/21/15 -that the screws on the blades seize up and you sometimes have to drill them out-when you feed a max diameter piece, hang on and yet be ready to let go so you don't get sucked in too...great power!-recommendation of some spare parts to have on hand.-that the chipper/shredder is so good that the neighbors want to use it-don't feed too many pine/spruce boughs at one time.-thought the chips would have been larger.-customer service after purchase was excellent.  By Rod, Beaver Cove, NS Canada Read More...
  • CSV-2515 - 4 out of 5 stars - Patriot Customer Review - Posted 02/20/15 Easy to use chipper for small branches and shredder for leaves and garden waste. I rake leaves in different areas of the yard and move the chipper-shredder to the leaves. I save some fall leaves for mulch around the garden plants. Used the chipper-shredder once or twice a year over 5 years. No problems.  By Robert, Greene, IA Read More...
  • CSV-2515 - 5 out of 5 stars - Patriot Customer Review - Posted 02/20/15 Actually, it is everything I had hoped it would be and more.  It just keeps running.  Only occasionally do I have to unjam a branch and that is usually because I have let the cutter blade get a little dull.  It is easy to re-sharpen.It is one of those rare pieces of equipment that I never have to wonder whether it is going to do the job or not.  It always does.  By Roger, Sonoma, CA Read More...
  • CSV-2515 - 4 out of 5 stars - Patriot Customer Review - Posted 02/20/15 I like the electric chipper because I've found gasoline engines unreliable in the past. I don't like storing gasoline in my garage either. I found the Patriot machine easy to use, easy to roll round, and store.  By Charles, La Mesa, CA Read More...
  • CSV-2515 - 5 out of 5 stars - Amazon Customer Review - Posted 01/25/15We purchased this Patriot electric chipper-shredder just over 6 years ago. It has worked very well and very reliably over the years. Our primary intended purpose was for shredding oak leaves in the fall. We make mulch for lawn and gardening projects. It handles 99% of the organic material that falls onto the lawn. 1% of the limbs that fall are too big. 99% of the branches, limbs, leaves, and acorns that fall from our New England trees get mulched and spread around various plantings resulting in a very satisfying circular recycling of nature's resources. There is a learning curve to it.
